Adhura Ishq (Incomplete Love)

Arz kiya hai:

Kaun kehta hai ki mohabbat barbad karti hai?
Koi nibhane wala ho to duniya yaad karti hai.

(Translation)
Who says that love is only a path to ruin?
If there is someone true to honor it, the world remembers it forever.

We live in an age where love is swiped away in a second, where hearts are blocked before they are even understood. But there is a nobility in the “Adhura Ishq”—the incomplete love. The love that didn’t reach its destination but made the journey beautiful.

Tum aaoge nahi, magar intezaar karna fitrat hai,
Tere bina jeena bhi kya khoob kismat hai.
Humne toh maanga tha saath tumhara umr bhar ke liye,
Magar khuda ko shayad hamari tanhaai se mohabbat hai.

(Translation)
You will not come, yet waiting is my nature,
Living without you is its own strange fate.
I had only asked for your company for a lifetime,
But perhaps God fell in love with my solitude instead.

To all those waiting for a message that will never come: Your wait is not in vain. It is poetry.
